The location is Central School, which was built in 1878 at the corner of Colorado and Fair Oaks. I'm not sure of the event, though. Though Paul is correct about the year, the funeral of Owen Brown was said to be held at a church (though I'm not sure which one) and 2000 people attended. This looks like a smaller crowd.

There are two men on a podium before the crowd. It looks like one of them holds something--a paper, maybe? Is someone giving a speech?
