I'm puzzled about the fountain. The one at the library now is the same as the one in the photo (and that could well be Myron Hunt in 1927) but there's a plaque on it that says it's the Douglas Mackay Longyear and Ann Jarvis Longyear fountain dedicated 10 May 2002. Did they donate the money to restore it?

Is Myron Hunt posing by the fountain in the Central Library courtyard at the library's dedication in 1927?
Looks like Mr. Davidson hit the mark. Here is a picture of Hunt at one of his other accomplishments, Boys Republic:

Elijah must be right, it's certainly the library and it's certainly Myron Hunt. Is it certainly the dedication? I don't know.

Well, blah. All the fun is already over, isn't it?
