First and Foremost, great to see you back Ann! I agree with D5. I'll add that the location is Garfield and then named Ramona St. I believe the name of that stretch of Ramona was fairly recently changed to Thurgood Marshall St.
Oh Ann, thank you for treating us to this! I missed it(and you, of course). I guess the wisdom of crowds says it's the police station. I can see a little clue in the photo that says it's Ramona Street.
PB: I did let the PIO know about my poor imitation of her weekly Myst Histories. I love local history but am very relieved Ann is back home at Citihall & taking over MH again. Especially the prize giving part, LoL!

celebration of the opening of the new police station?
Good to see you back on the Mystery History train.
opening of the court house?
This looks like a Myron Hunt building...could it represent when the federal government took over the Vista Del Arroyo bungalow?
Welcome back, Ann!!
I was hoping your "part-time" work wood include MH!! Welcome Back, PIO

Btw, I have some more recent shots of this govt bldg.
You are back, you are sooooo back!
It's the police station, of course. What's happening, I don't know, but I'll agree with Ben because he's a smart guy.
Did you know Cafe Pasadena picked up the Mystery History Mantle while you were gone? He did a fine job, too.
